Polishing drums are manufactured from solid polyurethane foam material with a high content of build-in polishing powder (CeO2). The tools are used for the polishing of lead and lead-free crystal, various types of colour glass and some kinds of synthetic and natural jewellery stones. The tools are manufactured from a highly solid and self-regenerating material which was developed to meet the extremely demanding working conditions associated with polishing under very high pressures of up to 70 bars. From this material we produce different types of tools, especially wheels of various dimensions for polishing jewellery on semiautomatic machines (glass stones, beads, some types of chandelier pendants, gems etc). However, recommended working conditions need to be complied for optimal use of supreme features of the material. Drums are cooled only with water, no added polishing agent is necessary.
Type A24, A29
These tools are intended for use in polishing under extremely high working pressure of 29,4 - 68,6 bar. Even under such exreme working pressure the glass won´t be burnt. Type A29 is suitable for polishing of middle sized surfaces, e.g. of glass stones of ss20 - ss40 sizes.

Type A24A, A34A
These tools are designed for polishing under working pressures of 9,8 - 58,8 bar. Type A24A is a universal polishing tool which is used for the majority of polishing technologies in the costume jewellery industry.

Type A7
The tool is intended for use in polishing under lower working pressures of 7,8 - 19,6 bar. It is intended mainly for the polishing of larger surfaces such as chandelier pendants or glass stones of the ss40 - ss65 sizes.

Recommended working conditions:
- pressure: 7,8 - 68,6 bar
- peripheral speed: 4-7 m/s
- highest peripheral speed: 10 m/s
Cooling water must not contain any grease, oils, etc. The working surface of the tools should not be contaminated with grease or other organic solvents. The recommended cooling water temperature is 15 - 30 oC.
Various shapes and dimensions of tools may be produced after agreement.
