BK Tool

The BK Tool is a product intended for the fine grinding of glass. The tool is made from several different grits of treated sand and a polyurethane binder.

The tool is intended for machine grinding of different kinds of jewellery products, machine-cut crystal chandelier pendants, etc., on flat grinding machines.

The BK Tool has very good stock removal properties with respect to the material worked and is extremely durable. Surfaces ground by the tool are very fine and of excellent quality.

For jewellery products, we recommend using this grinding tool prior to polishing on ATP Tools.

Recommended working conditions:

Revolutions:    190 - 240 r.p.m.

Pressure: 1,5 - 8 kg·cm^-2 (1.5 - 7.8 bar)

Cooling: Water

Highest number of revolutions: 390 r.p.m.      for diameter 498 mm

Adhesion: When sticking the tool onto the metal support, a two-part epoxy resin adhesive (such as ARALDITE) should be used.

Cooling water: Cooling water must not contain any grease, oils, etc.

Dimensions: 498x40/200 mm
